Garry McKee

Garry McKee earned his MFA from Georgia Southern University. Just after Graduating in 2000, he began teaching full time as a member of the Graphic Design Department at The Art Institute of Atlanta, where he remained until 2005.  In addition to his full time duties at AIA, Garry taught adjunct with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division. In January of 2005, he moved from full time at AIA to full time online faculty with AIPO, where he has been since. In total, he has been with EDMC for eight wonderful years. During that time, he has been a freelance designer and illustrator with clients ranging from Tyco electronics, to Marvel Comics, to a wide variety of local and regional organizations. But Garry’s primary focus is his beautiful wife and three remarkable children.

Selected Works

One of his most recent identity projects was a bit of a family affair.  His wife opened a children’s clothing store during the summer of 2008. It was for this store that he designed the flexible identity system, below.
