Jing NotesBack to Teaching/General Archive Every student receives a personalized 2 to 4 minute video crit for each one of the 2 to 3 studio assignments each week. Their submission is brought up onscreen, and I use the cursor to point out what I am discussing. Photoshop markups can also be done when needed. The files range from 2 mb to 5 mb, although some can get bigger, depending on the elements being recorded. The student then applies the feedback and when necessary reposts an image which is then given a textual response. Tutorials. Tutorials are used by all classes. The size of one recent 5 minute tutorial covering grouping thumbs is 25 mb. The free account is used up pretty fast - two courses use half the allotted bandwidth and 1/4 of the storage. I think the premium account at $9.95 is worth it. The critiques need to be archived for a year for PPAR purposes. After that critiques can be deleted and disk space freed up. However, tutorials would have to be archived permanently. Below is a screenshot of the library created from 10/17 to 11/5.
