My design project is composed of many fairly abstract, complementary three dimensional objects. I started by drawing an unnamable shape, which I'm wont to do from time to time. I gave this a dark gray color, and then applied the 3D Revolve effect to it. This made it three or four times larger, but the part of the object The Revolve effect gave it almost a "space age" appearance. Then I created another abstract shape, something between a bullet and a fish, made it three dimensional, and applied the Plastic Wrap filter to make it shiny-looking. I eventually added a dark drop shadow below this object as well. The four cylindrical elements in the design were simple oval or circle shapes with 3D effects applied to them. I used light gray and white for these to balance against the large black object behind them. I added a spiral line, which also would up being 3D to fit in with the rest of the composition. There was still a considerable amount of plain white in the background, so I added some light-colored "stained glass". Finally, I made a five-sided star and then used 3D effects and added a bumpy texture to give it visual interest.
