Tim Critchfield, Texture

This is what I call Melting Silver. First thing I did was hit "D" button to make it black image. Then Filter > Render > Clouds, Then Filter> Blur > Glausian Blur and chose 6 mega pixels, Then Filter > Motion Blur and choose angle -90° and Distance 90px., Then Image > Image Size, uncheck Constrain Proportions and set Width: 250px, Then I added the Plastic Wrap Effect: Filter > Artistic > Plastic Wrap- I set my Highlight Strength to 20, Detail to 10, and Smoothness to 15
Then came in the Chrome effect: Filter > Sketch > Chrome, Detail
0 and Smoothness 10, Then Fade Chrome
I had Opacity to 100 % and set on Vivid Light, And finally I added the
texture effect, Filter > Texture ? Texturizer. After all this it came
out with this nice oozing effect to where it looks like melting silver.
Set Scaling 200 % and Relief 4.
Jeff's response:
Great work - horizontal and vertical elements, macro
micro relationships, not too graphic -
Works for me (:
