Example - full figure study Here is an example of a student work, full figure - however please note that this isn't a self portrait, and isn't standing. The drawings do have nice line work, subdivide the space, and show evidence of having been drawn loose, and taken to a much tighter level. What things can you include in the drawing that might tell us about you? Will the drawing style give us hints as well as to whether you are bold, impatient, timid or expressive?

Use the negative spaces to define positive forms. If the negative
spaces are drawn correctly, the positive forms
will have correct proportions.
student work 1 various exercises, onground. Here is a variety of work
from various exercises done in an ino fig drawing course on-ground.
You can see examples of gesture and skeletal studies, portraits, hands and
feet, value studies, contour, and subtractive techniques.
Note that works range from the representational to highly expressive and
absact. They also go beyond a simple study to express mood, isolation, communication.
You can group studies together to create a different dialogue between the
images. Simple things, thoughtful decisions can make a big difference in
the result for the audience.
